Life Lessons from the Good Ol' Boys

Life Lessons from the Good Ol' Boys

Yes the Dukes of Hazzard was part of my childhood days and I’m proud of it! Here are some lessons from Quernzy inspired by the Dukes of Hazzard that will last a lifetime….

A day goes by much quicker when there’s a car chase involved. And a car chase isn’t worth watching if the car doesn’t fly in the air at least once.

Tight pants, flannel shirt and cowboy boots never go out of style and looks smokin hot. Not to mention a curly ‘fro and sideburns.

Give your car a name and a cute horn and it will perform better.

Yelling out ‘yee-haw’ just puts a smile on your face. Literally!

All problems can be solved within an hour. A new lesson learned every week.

Walkie talkies are so much more fun than cellphones. Especially when you can say '10-4 little buddy'. And have a cool codename.

Having a pretty girl around never hurt nothin’. And she usually has the brains and a lot of heart to bring to the situation anyway.

Along with the A-Team and Knight Rider (what is it w/ me and cars??), add a bowl of Breyer’s ice cream, and I don’t need to remember any of my other childhood memories. (I’ve forgotten the others anyway.)

Let's just hope the movie is even half as good....

And just a side note – downtown Hazzard County looks A LOT like Stars Hollow, home to a couple Gilmore Girls!! 25 yrs doesn’t change much on the WB lot.
